EMUS RUGBY CLUB
Established in 1947, Emus has long been one of the strongest clubs in the Central West region, and is the reigning Blowes Clothing Cup second grade champions.
The club celebrated its 70th anniversary during season 2017, a season which netted a fourth straight second grade grand final appearance, which resulted in a title, and a fourth consecutive first grade decider appearance as well.
The club built on that further in the 2018 season, hosting the senior grand finals and making another appearance in first grade, second grade and third grade. In the end, both the first XV and third XV emerged victorious, for the former side it was a third title in the last five years.
Emus also boasts an incredibly strong junior base, from Wallas all the way up to under 17s.
Situated next to Elephant Park on Woodward Street, Orange, Emus is the premier rugby union facility in the region, boasting a massive grandstand in our colours and two full-sized fields for matches and training.
Emus also boasts the best clubhouse in the Central West, which can also be hired for any function, big or small (bookings and terms apply).
